If you're using Ircle on the Mac, as I do, follow these instructions. Those using other IRC applications (Homer on the Mac or IrcII on Windows) may have a slightly different way of getting to the general preferences dialog box, but the information needed to be input will be the same.

Here's what to do:

• In Ircle, under the File menu, go to the Preferences command, and release on General... The general preferences dialog box should appear (shown below, with my information entered).
• Fill in the information below:
  • Server: Set the server to irc.dal.net. In the pop up menu, you may have to release on Other server, and type this in manually.
  • Port: Set the port to 6667.
  • Nickname: Type in your first name and last initial (I've entered AdsOnline so you can quicly know when I'm talking to you).
  • Mail address: If you have an e-mail address, type it here (mine is response@liii.com).
  • Real name: Type in your full name here.
  • Auto-exec: You can ignore this.
• Hit the return key when finished and go back to the Live Training Room.
